The holiday season is in full force and the Yell County Courthouse in Dardanelle is fully decorated for the holiday season, with Christmas lights streamed around the building and on the grounds. The decorations include the City of Dardanelle’s ‘Trees at the Courthouse.’

On Saturday night, November 13th, Yell County’s own, Hill Street Blues performed at Mak Daddy’s Old Town Meet & Eat located at 9733 Market Street in Dover. The band took the stage and performed a variety of music ranging from old country to classic rock to modern contemporary Christian.

On Friday night, October 1st, the Russellville Cyclones faced the Van Buren Pointers during this year’s Homecoming game. After several Homecoming events were held throughout the day, at 6:30 p.m.,  the Homecoming pre-game ceremony was held. Kickoff for the game followed at 7 p.m. 

The Russellville Cyclones celebrated Homecoming on Friday, October 1st as they faces the Van Buren Pointers. Prior to kickoff, the Homecoming Court was presented to Cyclone fans and Homecoming Queen Lauren Bradford was crowned. The following video is of the pre-game ceremony.
