In light of lawsuits and allegations of impropriety by members of the Pope County Quorum Court, Russellville Superintendent Dr. Mark Gotcher has disclosed a visit he had with Pope County Judge Ben Cross, which also included justices of the peace from the Pope County Quorum Court.

Pope County EMS Rescue held an auto extrication training session on Monday night, July 29, 2019 at Cunningham Metals located on South Arkansas Avenue. The training included several auto extrication techniques that were performed on salvaged vehicles using various rescue tools.
