Cloud is a 1992 graduate of Arkansas Tech University and is a 32 year employee of UPS.

Cloud and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 30 years and have two children, Daniel and Sarah Beth, who both attended and graduated from the Russellville School District. Daniel is a Senior at U of O in Clarksville and will graduate this spring. Sarah Beth is a Junior at Arkansas Tech University. Cloud’s children and daughter-in-law, Maegan, all plan to pursue a career in education after graduating from college. Cloud and his family are active members of the First Baptist Church in Russellville.

Cloud states that public education is of utmost importance and his family. He currently has three nieces and a nephew who attend four different schools in the Russellville School District ranging from elementary to high school.

Cloud has served 11 years on the Russellville School Board and is a strong supporter of ALL students. He plans to continue advocating for the needs of each student and their families in the district by maintaining a student-focused approach. Cloud stated, “One of the goals of the board is to do our best to help each student reach their top potential at RSD.”

Cloud continued to state that he is a strong supporter of conservative values. He believes the district should reflect the culture of the community of Russellville, not the culture currently represented at the national level. When asked about the importance of local control, Cloud stated, “We should always strive to educate our students, but never indoctrinate them.”

Cloud humbly asks for your vote for re-election for RSD School Board Zone 1 on May 11-18. GO CYCLONES!
