#commUNITY Campaign

A joint initiative between River Valley Now & Main Street Russellville called the #CommUNITY Campaign is off to a hot start. Along with money raised from the sale of #CommUNITY shirts, mugs, tumblers and decals, several local businesses and individuals have chipped in to push the campaign to a new high.

Over $20,000 has been raised as of Friday morning and with commitments from several more businesses and individuals that total is due to increase daily.

Main Street Russellville generously set aside $9,000 to help businesses in the Downtown Russellville district & well over $5,000 has been spent locally so far. As part of this campaign decals were purchased from The Sign Hub, mugs & tumblers from VIP Awards & t-shirts from Mullen Team Sports. Every penny raised so far has been or will be spent in the River Valley at locally owned and/or operated businesses.

Many of the local businesses will benefit from the purchase of gift cards or packaged bundles which will be given away on the RVN Facebook page daily. Ideally these contests will shine a spotlight on these local businesses which will result in many more customers for them through this time.

If you'd like to be part of this campaign visit our #CommUNITY store where you can purchase any or all of these items. If you're feeling generous we also have a donation bucket with amounts ranging from $10 to $1,000.
