On Tuesday, January 4, Survival Flight 7 landed at the Crow Mountain Fire Department to participate in a landing zone training session for CMFD firefighters. The training session covered general information about setting up a landing zone and precautions to take around a helicopter.

During the training, firefighters learned how to establish an ideal landing zone, the requirements for medical helicopters to land on scene safely, information on loading patients who are being transported by the air ambulance and how to assist the flight crew from the ground.

The Crow Mountain Fire Department would like to thank the crew of Survival Flight 7 for coming to the fire department and conducting the training session in order to assist them in offering the best service to the community.
