On Friday, May 29, Tyson Foods presented a check in the amount of $50,000 to the Havana Food Bank located on East Broadway in Havana.

The donation was made to install a new walk-in style freezer in the food bank facility to provide frozen chicken to other food banks and families in need.

The check was presented to James Ridenour, President of the Havana Food bank and Secretary of the Havana Food Bank, Crystal Goodwin.

The representatives of the food bank would like to recognize Tyson Foods for their generous donation and to say thank you.

During the event, the check was presented by representatives for Tyson Foods, Coy Arnold, Jim Huffman, David Rohr, Lance Martin, Jeremy Hankins and Celia Carter at 2:30 p.m. at the Tyson Foods Processing Plant in Dardanelle.
