A 54-year-old Ozark man was killed and three others were injured after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Thursday, July 4, in Coal Hill.
According to a preliminary report provided by the Arkansas State Police, the collision occurred at 10:06 p.m. as a 2011 Dodge Ram was traveling east on Highway 65 approaching Gravel Hill
Road and a 2011 Harley Davidson was traveling west on Highway 64. The motorcycle failed to negotiate a right curve causing it to cross the center line of the highway where it struck the from driver side of the truck. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Patrick Ewart Corbin, 54 of Ozark was killed in the collision.
The driver and two passengers of the Dodge Ram sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to Johnson County Regional Medical Center to receive treatment for the injuries they had sustained.
According to the report, when the crash occurred, the weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry.
At the time of this story, the injuries sustained by the driver and two passengers of the truck and their current conditions are unknown.
