After conducting a search for three missing Russellville children on Sunday evening and into the night, just before 10 p.m. officers with the Russellville Police Department located the three children who were reportedly locked and trapped in a business about two to three blocks from their home. At the time of this update, limited information was available. There is no foul play suspected and no Injuries were sustained in the incident. 

Upon receiving additional information from the Russellville Police Department, readers will be updated and additional information will be shared. 


City, county and state authorities are continuing a search for three missing Russellville children after they were discovered missing Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Law enforcement officers and search teams were dispatched to Warehouse Road off of Highway 64 East around 4:40 p.m. after Pope County dispatchers received a 911 call reporting the missing children.

Officers and search teams have throughly searched the surrounding woods and fields in hopes of locating the three, but at this time they remain missing.

The Arkansas State Police helicopter has since joined search efforts and is currently circling the area using thermal imagers. Just after 9 p.m., a K9 team also joined the search efforts and are scent tracking at this time.
