The Pottsville Apaches' season came to a 38-6 end on Friday at the hands of the Rivercrest Colts in the second round of the Class 4A State Tournament.

Pottsville was outscored 13-0 in the second quarter and trailed 19-0 at halftime. The Colts added another 19 points in the third quarter. Pottsville's lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Landon Mahan scored on a 2-yard run. The Apaches totaled 190 yards of total offense against Rivercrest's 350. Elijah Bradley led Pottsville on the ground with 91 yards on 17 carries. Mahan had 49 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown.

The Apaches finished the 2020 season 4-6.
