The Hector Wildcats traveled last night to Lavaca for conference games with Sr. Girls and Sr. Boys games. The Sr. Boys fell short to a talented Lavaca team, 19-62. The Sr. Girls, on the flip side, won 58-36.
Bree McCrotty continued her excellent season, leading the Lady Wildcats with 23 points. Ashlynn Avey followed her with 14 points.
"Conference games on the road are always tough. We jumped on them early, but let them close the gap at halftime", said coach Ben Freeman. "We made some adjustments and only allowed them15 points in the second half."

- Sr. Girls: Season 10-4; Conference 4-1 (currently in 2nd place in conference)
- Sr. Boys: Season 7-3; Conference 4-2
The Wildcats will travel to Mountainburg on Friday to take on the Dragons in conference play.
