Atkins (10-5, 8-2) cruised to a 9-1 victory over Paris (4-11, 1-7) on Tuesday.
The Red Devils jumped on the Eagles early with a score off after a stolen base in the first inning. In the third inning Atkins opened the game up by scoring four runs. Ben Jackson, Parker Ward, and Nic Ferguson all had RBIs during the inning.
Ben Jackson also pitched a complete game for Atkins striking out nine with zero walks while only surrendering one run.
Anthony Potts was the losing pitcher for Paris. He allowed five hits and five runs over 2.1 innings pitched while striking out two.
The Red Devils recorded 10 hits with Jackson, Ferguson, and Colton Epperson all having multiple hits.
Atkins will travel to the Bigelow Panthers on Thursday.
